i am looking for good portable applications to be used on my flash drive, it is U3, though non U3 compatible apps are preferred for startup time reasons. must be free
any that can run from a floppy?
at the moment i need one that will give me reminders of user specified evenfree u3 applicationsts based on the host computer's date and time.
messages like: _____ will be on in 15 mins, the class period is almost up, press record button on vcr. etc... it must be able to run without administrator privileges.
is it a problem that the drive letter for my drive is free u3 applicationsdifferent on every computer i use it on? will it mess up the file path names and shortcuts?
My favorite thing for this is at They re-write programs to work on flash drives. They have stuff such as Firefox,OpenOffice, Gaim, etc. Check them out, they have some cool stuff.
