I just successfully unistalled McAfee Internet Security Suite so I can install Kaspersky AntiVirus 2009 but when I try to install it, it says that it is running McAfee Security Suite an incompatible program "remove to continue installation" but on the programs list McAfee isn't listed and besides I already sucessfully uninstalled it. How do I continue the installation of Kaspersky AntiVirus 2009?!
It not listed on your add/remove McAfekaspersky antivirus 2009e but it still on your system and that is causing the problem. So that is why your getting message from Kaspersky saying it can't install because they know that McAfee is still there. Go to start then run and type in regedit. When that dialog box opens up got to edit and type in McAfee when you find it right click on it and select delete. Delete everything to do with McAfee. Close the regedit dialog box and restart your pc in safe mokaspersky antivirus 2009de using F8 on your keyboard. This should remove McAfee off your PC
Kaspersky AntiVirus 2009 is install in your computer if and only if you remove all antivirus on your pc.You check out the program file wheather h the McAfee Security Suite is remove or not (check out the folder in program file if present delete it).
Then install Kaspersky AntiVirus 2009 ,restart computer that's it.
