new areWhy are people from New York so arrogant, belligerent and vindictive?

They also seem to be compulsive lairs and get pissed of easily. Every person I know that's from New York is like that. Why can't they just be cool?
they swear its so nice when its not even that cool, its so overly crowded its not even funny
The more northern the culture, the farther is what is called "social proximity". "Social proximity" is that phoenomena of unspoken yet universally know set of social etiquette that is deemed anew arecceptable. Goegraphicaly, the more northern the culture the less warm the social climate is or further the social proximity. This is a true, scientifically researched phoenomena. Think of how the southern cultures are (Brazil for example) everyone kisses, hugs, touches and stands close when talking.
New York is one of America's models for success.
Some of the most successful people int he world live there, and people like to brag about it.
Those new arewho consider themselves to be UNsuccessful are jealous and mean to anyone dressed nicely because they believe that you think highly of yourself and look down on people who are not as well off. It is also just a social norm in the Northern states to be arrogant and mean. People in New York will generally step all over anyone who is passive or kind.

In my mind, the state is the epitome of selfishness and our corrupt society.
