internet download manager reviewCannot connect to internet/media disconnected state?

Ok.
Well, my sister had been complaining about her internet not working and something being wrong with her account. I went on to check and all of a sudden this program comes up called security suite. I had not seen this on any account before and suspected it was a fake anti-virus software. I goggled it via my windows user account and found it to be so. I browsed the web some more for a way to erase this program as I had tried to find the files for it and load task manager to end process but to no success. I found positive reviews with some program called Malwarebytes and downloaded the program. I ran a quick scan (35 minutes in total...) and it located 75 infected files. I went through the log and checked with google to find that most of these, if not ainternet download manager reviewll, were the hidden files for security suite and removed them. I then restarted my computer as the program asked. All seemed good, no more viruses, no infected files and my computer appeared to be working perfectly normally. But, when i logged on her account to check if everything was fixed, she could not connect to the internet. She said she thinks she had this problem before the security suite problem, but she's not sure. I ran cmd and typed in 'ipconfig/ all' and it states that 'Media State: Media Disconnected' and 'DHCP Enabled: No'.

Sorry for the long block of text, but i do not know how to fix this ): The solutions i have found so far i have not understood entirely, and i am a little afraid of doing something terribly wrong. If anyone can heinternet download manager reviewlp me fix this (in fairly simple wording), it would be much appreciated.

pretty please ):
the virus might have permanently damage her profile. recreate the profile is faster then trying to troubleshoot and its also cleaner.
Internet security is a fake anti virus program as you suspected and blocks downloads on all ports.

You need to remove this with a free program called malwarebytes.

It does run on a process which causes lots of issues with your computers internet connection.

Media Disconnection: Do you get the activity lights on the Ethernet Port?
Unless she's purposely running with a fixed IP address, try enabling DHCP (automatic IP address assignment) in the connection.

Hope that helps.
